bring out the pens and paper

Here is a summary of what you will learn throughout the week:

Production planning involves organizing and planning the production of your video before you begin filming. We'll teach you how to brainstorm an idea and take it from your brain to paper to video! Did you know that scripting and storyboarding are important steps to take for a successful video? We'll teach you how to write a script and storyboard properly so that your video is effective.

Camera techniques can make or break a successful video. We'll teach you about shot composition, exposure, and proper camera movement. Filmmakers who use these techniques avoid creating boring and predictable films!

Computer editing knowledge and the proper use of software are key skills for today's filmmakers. In just one week we'll show you how to use iMovie for all of your future projects! Each student will have the opportunity to complete tasks such as logging clips, adding music and sounds, and experimenting with various editing effects.
